We are looking forward to having you join us!

On Saturday morning, registration takes place from 8:00-1:00.  All Ride-A-Thon participants bringing in at least $35.00 in pledges will receive their collector tee shirt.  In addition, you'll enjoy a hot dog cowboy lunch and be eligible to win one of dozens of door prizes!  Lunch is served from 11:00-1:30 and the Award Ceremony begins at 3:00.

For our supporters without horses, we offer the "Pumpkin Walk".  Hike the beautiful trails around Sessions Lake and find a numbered pumpkin along the way.  Trade your pumpkin in for a door prize.  Leashed dogs are welcome!

For each $50.00 in pledges, you will receive one ticket in the $500.00 Grand Prize Drawing!    There will be many other exciting prizes in the Grand Prize Drawing.  The 6 High Pledge winners in 11 age divisions will win trophies and rosette ribbons.   Special prizes will be awarded to: High Pledge Family, Business, 4-H Club, Non-4H Club and Individual;  Oldest rider, Youngest rider, Trail Boss (person who brought the most new participants), End of the Trail (person who came the farthest) and 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 & 30 years of participation.  We have our popular glass mugs for returning Ride-A-Thoners who bring a new participant with them.  Those with pledges of $250 - $499, $500 - $999, and for $1000 and over will receive special prizes.

Please collect any individual pledges less than $35.  Pledge checks to the 4-H Foundation no longer qualify for state tax credits.  Please write ALL checks payable to KSRP.  (The Foundation keeps 15% of all checks written to the Foundation.)  KSRP is licensed with the State of Michigan as a 501 (c) (3) charity.  Other tax breaks may apply.

A State Park Passport is required for park entrance.   Camping is available at the Horseman's Campground (next to the Ride-A-Thon staging area).  Reservations can be made by calling 616-527-3750.

If you cannot be with us on the 22nd, you can still be a Ride-A-Thoner!  Just mail your pledge sheet and pledges to us and we'll get your tee shirt sent out to you!  Pledge sheets and pledges can be mailed to:  Louise Palczewski    723 Flat Street NE,  Grand Rapids,  MI   49503

 Ride-a-Thon Sponsorships!

See Your Business Logo Here!

Our 34th Annual Ride-a-Thon on September 22, 2012 will be our main fundraiser and much effort goes into making this event a success.  Even now, we are actively seeking sponsors to help offset the costs involved in producing this event.  Businesses or individuals can become Ride-a-Thon sponsors.  A $500.00 Ride-a-Thon sponsorship entitles an organization to have their name and logo screen-printed on the back of 420 collector tee-shirts that are distributed to Ride-a-Thon participants and volunteers.  In addition, the name and logo are printed on all Ride-a-Thon publicity, including over 800 pledge sheets distributed in the community, and prominently displayed on the KSRP website.  KSRP is a nonprofit 4-H organization, so donations are tax deductible.  If you know of anyone who may be interested in becoming a Ride-a-Thon sponsor, please contact Gail at 723-5682.
